Tourism: Hotels, resorts and shopping centers provide their services within approved regulatory frameworks

Abu Dhabi, 6 March / WAM / The Ministry of Economy and Tourism confirmed that in light of the ongoing regional developments, the tourism sector in the UAE continues to perform its work in accordance with the directives issued by the competent authorities, with careful and continuous follow-up of various developments.

The Ministry explained that hotels, resorts, tourist and cultural attractions, and shopping centers in various parts of the country receive their guests and provide their services within the approved regulatory frameworks, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.

She added that the concerned authorities monitor on a daily basis the operating conditions and occupancy levels to ensure that services continue to be provided smoothly, and to address any challenges that may arise quickly and efficiently, calling on visitors to communicate directly with accommodation facilities or tourism service providers to obtain the latest details related to reservations or programs.

The Ministry stressed that the safety and comfort of visitors remains its top priority, noting that it will continue to work in close coordination with its partners in the sector to ensure the stability and continuity of the tourism experience in the country in accordance with existing data.

For its part, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi confirmed that hotels, tourist attractions, entertainment experiences, cultural sites and museums throughout the emirate continue to operate as usual, receiving visitors and providing their services normally.

The department indicated that it is continuously coordinating with the relevant government agencies to ensure that the necessary support is provided to visitors currently in the emirate, in addition to partners, employees, and all members of the local community, which contributes to enhancing the visitor experience and maintaining the continuity of the tourism sector.

In the same context, the entertainment destinations on Yas Island continue to receive visitors daily, offering a wide range of family activities and experiences, especially during the spring semester and the official student holiday period.

The entertainment cities on the island remain open to visitors, and include Ferrari World, Yas Island Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Yas Island Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, and SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi, as these destinations provide various entertainment experiences suitable for all ages.

These destinations are witnessing demand from families who are keen to take advantage of the students’ official holiday to visit tourist attractions, museums and entertainment destinations that provide various programs and activities that combine entertainment, education and knowledge.
