Abu Dhabi Chamber: Martyr’s Day is a national occasion to commemorate the heroism of the people of the nation
ABU DHABI, 30 November / WAM / His Excellency Shams Ali Al Dhaheri, Second Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Managing Director, said that Martyr’s Day represents an immortal national occasion during which we remember the sacrifices of the people of the country who gave their lives in defense of the Emirates and to preserve its dignity and security.
In a speech on the occasion of Martyr’s Day, which falls on November 30 of each year, he emphasized renewed loyalty to the brave martyrs of the UAE who embodied the highest meanings of sacrifice and loyalty to the wise leadership, and to a country that has made human elevation and the values of giving and belonging at the top of its priorities.
His Excellency added that the status that the martyrs have in the hearts of Emiratis, and the continuous care given by the wise leadership to their families, confirm that their sacrifices will remain firmly established in the memory of the nation and its path, as this day is an opportunity to consolidate the values of loyalty and national work among generations, and an affirmation of our responsibility to continue building and preserving the gains of the Union.
For his part, His Excellency Ali Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the Abu Dhabi Chamber considers remembering the heroism of the martyrs a national commitment and a societal responsibility that requires continuing to work sincerely to contribute to the renaissance of the nation, inspired by their sacrifices and unwavering determination.
On this day, he stressed adherence to the values of sacrifice and belonging, and support of the state’s efforts in strengthening national unity and consolidating the patriotic spirit in future generations, explaining that Martyr’s Day is a national occasion to restore the heroism of the loyal sons of the nation who sacrificed their lives in defense of the UAE’s pride and sovereignty, embodying the highest meanings of courage, loyalty, and loyalty to the nation and its wise leadership.
