Dubai, November 30, 2017 / WAM / Fadela Al Muaini, President of the Emirates Journalists Association, confirmed that Martyr’s Day is a national occasion that embodies the highest meanings of loyalty and gratitude for the sacrifices of the people of the country who gave their lives in defense of the UAE and preserving its gains.
She said that Martyr’s Day represents a source of pride and pride for every citizen and resident of the Emirates, stressing that the sacrifices of the martyrs will remain immortal in the memory of the nation and the conscience of its people, and established as a role model of sincerity, heroism, and loyalty to the leadership and nation.
She added that commemorating this anniversary embodies the keenness of the wise leadership to consolidate the values of sacrifice and national commitment, enhance the spirit of unity and belonging, and commemorate the names of the martyrs whose blood wrote bright pages in the history of the Emirates, pointing to the great care given by the wise leadership to the families of the martyrs.
