"Calds" It showcases its defense solutions at EDEX 2025 in Cairo
Abu Dhabi, November 30 / WAM / Caldis Holding Group is participating in the activities of the International Defense Industries Exhibition “EDEX 2025”, which is being held at the Egypt International Exhibition and Conference Center in Cairo from December 1 to 4, within the national pavilion of the United Arab Emirates.
The group’s participation in the international exhibition specialized in defense industries is an important milestone in its series of international participations, as it aims to showcase its latest integrated defense systems and advanced air and land products, in addition to enhancing the presence of national industries in Asian markets, and expanding the horizons of cooperation and partnership in the regional defense and security sector.
During its participation in the exhibition, the Caledus Group displays its manufacturing capabilities by highlighting its most prominent products and leading defense technologies that were completely designed, developed and manufactured in the UAE within its three integrated sectors: the land systems sector, the aviation sector, and the defense systems and missiles sector. These technologies include the modern eight-propelled Sweihan mechanism, advanced in its capabilities, and the high-precision “Al Haddah” missile system, in addition to one of its most important solutions and unique innovations, which is the advanced short-range “Shield” air defense system capable of confronting a wide range of air threats, including drones, in confirmation of its leadership in innovating integrated and advanced protection systems and keeping pace with modern operational requirements.
In addition, the group displays the four-wheel-drive multi-mission armored tactical vehicle “Mazeed” equipped with the “Al-Hadah” missile launcher, in addition to the “Badr-250” light attack aircraft, the B-250T basic training aircraft, the eight-wheel drive “Al-Wahsh” vehicle, the “Washq” vehicle for reconnaissance missions, border patrols, and the protection of vital facilities, the “Barq” missile launcher system, and the multi-mission armored personnel carrier. This wide range of defense products reflects Calds’ advanced manufacturing capabilities, the maturity of its capabilities in the field of research and development, and the extent of development achieved by the UAE defense industries in general in the fields of design, engineering, innovation and industrial integration.
