ABU DHABI, 30 November / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al Ameri, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, said that Martyr’s Day is a day of fulfillment of the immortal sacrifices made by our heroes with their pure blood, writing the brightest pages of glory in the record of the United Arab Emirates.
Al-Amiri said in a statement on this occasion: “We stand on November 30, with all reverence and pride, to commemorate our righteous martyrs who sacrificed their pure lives in defense of the homeland and to preserve its pride, dignity, sovereignty and union.”
He added: “Our martyrs embodied the highest meanings of loyalty and belonging, and presented in the fields of duty the most wonderful images of altruism and redemption, so that the UAE flag will continue to fly with pride and dignity. Their sacrifices are not just a memory, but rather a beacon that illuminates for us the path of giving, and seeds of determination planted in our souls, so that we may continue the path of construction and development with all sincerity and steadfastness.”
He said: “In the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, we draw from their noble conduct as role models and determination, and we renew our pledge to remain loyal in serving the nation, preserving its legacy and gains, defending its pride and dignity, under the banner of wise leadership, so that the process of prosperity, leadership and excellence continues.”
