Zayed the Founder’s Statement celebrates the 54th Union Day
Abu Dhabi, 1st December / WAM / The Founder’s Zayed Memorial celebrates the 54th Union Day, on the 2nd and 3rd of this December, as part of the country’s celebrations that come this year under the slogan “United”, embodying the spirit of union and the ties that unite everyone who considers the UAE their homeland, by organizing a number of events that reflect the legacy of the UAE, and stemming from its value as a national cultural monument that stands witness to a history full of achievement, and celebrates the career of the inspiring leader, the founder of the country and the builder of its renaissance. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – may God rest his soul – which was characterized by an ambitious vision that continued to inspire generations and illuminate for them the paths of progress and advancement in various fields.
The edifice allows its guests from different cultures and groups to attend orchestral performances, under candlelight, and including musical pieces inspired by the poetry of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – may God rest his soul – in addition to the performances of the “Al-Ayyala” bands, which reflect the cultural heritage of the country.
The edifice also allows all segments of society to attend the state’s official celebration on the occasion of the 54th Union Day, via a display screen in the external area of the edifice, which displays a live broadcast of the celebration ceremonies.
His Excellency Dr. Yousef Al Obaidli, Director General of the Zayed Founding Memorial, said on this occasion that the celebration of the Zayed Founding Memorial on this precious national occasion confirms its role as a pioneering national and cultural destination that strengthens the connection of generations to the history and heritage of the Emirates, and contributes to consolidating the national identity and the legacy of Sheikh Zayed for all who consider the UAE their homeland, in ways that combine creativity and knowledge, thus embodying the slogan of this year’s Union Day, “United,” and consolidating the spirit of union and bonds that bring together all lovers of this land from different groups. And cultures.
He added, “We are continuing to embody the vision of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and to consolidate his noble values, inspired by his prosperous biography the spirit of insistence on excellence and working for the nation’s elevation and progress, so that the Union remains a model to be emulated.”
The activities organized by the Founding Zayed Monument provide its guests from different cultures with the opportunity to learn about the edifice, contemplate and contemplate the vision of the founding father and the values that he instilled in the nation to achieve the development and prosperity it has achieved today. Guests of the edifice are allowed to spend distinguished times with their families amidst its unique views, within its exceptional festive atmosphere on the occasion of Union Day, with the possibility of benefiting from drinks and snacks provided by the café located in the edifice’s square.
