Distinguished participation of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority in "Kuwait Book Fair"

ABU DHABI, 1st December / WAM / During its participation in the 48th session of the Kuwait International Book Fair, which concluded yesterday under the slogan “Capital of Culture/Homeland of the Book,” the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority reviewed a group of its heritage initiatives and projects.

The Authority’s participation came within the framework of its efforts aimed at preserving the Emirati and Arab cultural heritage and transmitting it to future generations, in addition to supporting the intellectual and cognitive movement through publishing research and studies in the fields of heritage and literature.

The exhibition formed a platform for communication with a wide range of researchers, writers, and those interested in heritage, as well as cultural and heritage institutions from several countries, which contributes to enhancing knowledge exchange.

In its pavilion, the Authority displayed a variety of publications in the fields of literature and heritage, including Nabati and classical poetry, critical and literary studies, dictionaries, and Emirati and Arab history and heritage books, in addition to a number of specialized publications.

The pavilion also highlighted a group of works by Kuwaiti writers and poets, including the collection “Ideas” by Abdullah Al-Busais, the collection “The Perfume of Speech” by Majid Al-Daihani, and the book “Puppets of Poetry – Dialogue Poems of Praise in the Heritage of Nabataean Poetry” by Ibrahim Hamid Al-Khalidi.
