With Emirati support, “Al Mokha” celebrates the wedding of 500 young men and women in the fifth mass wedding

Today, the city of Mokha witnessed the organization of the fifth mass wedding, which brought together 500 brides and grooms from the West Coast districts of the Hodeidah and Taiz governorates, under the patronage of the Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council in Yemen, Head of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, Lieutenant General Tariq Saleh, and with the support of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority and the National Resistance.
This group wedding was organized under the slogan “The Joy of a Homeland”, within the framework of the Emirates Red Crescent’s ongoing initiatives to support social stability, reduce the burdens of marriage on Yemeni youth, strengthen the social fabric, and build productive families.
Lieutenant General Tariq Saleh congratulated the newlyweds on this occasion, wishing them a happy and stable family life, and that they would be a solid foundation for building productive families that contribute to strengthening the social fabric and developing their society. He expressed his happiness at the diversity of popular costumes he witnessed, which reflected the richness of Yemeni heritage and its national unity.
The Governor of Hodeidah, Dr. Hassan Taher, and the Secretary-General of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, Abdul Wahab Al-Amer, expressed thanks and appreciation to the leadership and people of the UAE for its generous and continuous support to the Yemeni people in various humanitarian and development fields.
The event witnessed traditional artistic performances presented by the Crater Band, amid a festive atmosphere that reflected the joy of the grooms and their families on this occasion, in the presence of a number of political, military, and local leaders and directorate officials on the West Coast.
