151 deaths, the death toll from the Hong Kong fire… and more are expected
The death toll in China, last week, to 151 deaths.
Police official Tsang Shuk-yen confirmed, in a statement today, that the number of deaths had reached (151), but he did not rule out that the number would rise again.
Hong Kong Fire
The Criminal Investigation and Security Department indicated in to open an in-depth investigation into the fire incident, which led to the arrest of (13) people.
The possible use of flammable materials, such as bamboo scaffolding, which is commonly used in Hong Kong, is being investigated.
Hong Kong Fire Victims
The fire broke out last Wednesday, in the Wang Fook Court residential complex, which consists of eight buildings, which includes about (2,000) apartments in the area. Tai Po.
The fire is ranked among the most fatal fires in the world since 1980.
