The UAE built a renaissance that amazed the world

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, confirmed that on this immortal day, feelings of pride and gratitude come together to celebrate the birth of a great nation, and a country that refuses to be a symbol of leadership and a symbol of pride and dignity.

On the occasion of the 54th Union Day, His Highness said that the Union Day of the United Arab Emirates is a day in which the dream is embodied into reality, the will is a nation, and the vision is a union that shaped the glory of history with the hands of great leaders.

His Highness added: On this blessed day, we remember with love and reverence the Founding Fathers, led by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul,” who instilled in us the belief that the union is not only a political agreement, but rather a single spirit that flows through the body of the nation, uniting hearts before it unites the land.

His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah said: The decades of the Union have witnessed a renaissance that amazes the world, building monuments of science, development and achievement, and making the Emirates an oasis of security, peace, tolerance and humanity. Here is our flag today, flying high in the sky of achievement, telling the story of a nation that believes that the impossible is not in its dictionary, and that glory is for those who strive for it with unwavering determination.

His Highness stressed that Union Day is not only an occasion in which we celebrate the past, but rather it is a covenant in which we renew our loyalty to our wise leadership, which is following in the footsteps of our fathers with confidence, and a vision that looks to the future with an eye to the present. It is a leadership that made the human being the focus of development, dignity the basis of elevation, and giving a way of life. All greetings and congratulations to my brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and to my brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al. Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and to my brothers, the rulers of the Emirates, on the occasion of this great day.”

His Highness said: As we raise the flag of the Union today, we affirm that love for the Emirates is not a passing feeling, but rather a belief rooted in every beating heart on this good land. Every achievement we achieve is an extension of that historical moment in which the fathers announced the birth of a nation that united hearts to love, hands to build, and minds to create.

His Highness concluded by saying: Let us thank God for the blessing of the Emirates, and let us make our unity a path to a brighter future, and from our loyalty to our leadership a renewed promise that the flag of the Union will remain fluttering, illuminating our skies with glory and pride.
