This is one country with one flag and one president, and it deserves our sacrifice

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, extended congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and to the rulers of the Emirates, its people, and residents on its land, on the occasion of the 54th Union Day.

His Highness said through his official account on the “X” website: “In every achievement that the United Arab Emirates makes today, we see the fingerprints of Zayed, Rashid, and the founding fathers… We see a will that never knew the impossible, and insisted on success and uniqueness…”

His Highness continued, saying: “On the 54th anniversary of our union, we congratulate the leader of our journey, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the rulers of the Emirates, and our dear people and residents of its land, on this national occasion…”

His Highness added: “And to all our youth and emerging generations, we say that the bright future we are creating today together with firm faith and a firm foundation that does not change… This is one country with one flag, one president, and it deserves all of us to give and sacrifice for it every day.”
