Ajman Government Media Office: We celebrate an immortal union that was started by the founding fathers and whose foundations were strengthened by loyal sons.
Ajman, December 2, 2017 – His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Kaabi, Executive Director of the Ajman Government Media Office, confirmed that December 2 is an immortal national day in which we celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of a union that was initiated by the founding fathers, and whose foundations and structure were established by loyal children with unyielding determination and will over 54 years.
His Excellency said in a speech on the occasion of the 54th Federation Day: “On this day, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to the shrine of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and to his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Presidential Court. And to their brothers, Their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Council of the Federation, Rulers of the Emirates.”
He added: “Union Day is an occasion to remember the national values on which we grew up, and to emphasize our responsibility to preserve the nation’s achievements, and to strive tirelessly to achieve more achievements that befit the history of the UAE and its status at the regional and global levels. On this day, we renew the pledge of loyalty to our wise leadership, which has placed the human being at the heart of its development plans, and opened future horizons before him, encouraging him to innovate and create. We affirm our commitment to working with all sincerity to preserve the security and prosperity of our country, and to consolidate Its position among the leading countries.
He concluded by saying: “Every year, the United Arab Emirates becomes brighter and stronger, as it continues the path of giving and building, and confirms to the world that its union is the foundation of its strength and the source of its pride. We ask God to grant the Emirates, its people, and everyone who resides on its good land security, safety, and reassurance, and to always rejoice in the garment of goodness, well-being, and stability.”
