It expected that expenditures on sectors in the 2026 budget would decrease by 1.8%, compared to the 2025 budget.
3 scenarios
The Ministry of Finance identified 3 scenarios for budget revenues. In 2026, it includes: the highest scenario with revenues of 1.206 trillion riyals, expenditures of 1.313 trillion riyals, and a deficit of 107 billion riyals.
She added that the lower scenario is 1.063 trillion riyals in revenues, 1.313 trillion riyals in expenditures, and a deficit of 250 billion riyals. While the basic scenario is 1.147 trillion riyals in revenues, 1.313 trillion riyals in expenses, and a deficit of 165 billion.
