المملكة: Urgent: Saudi Arabia’s 2026 budget: expenses "education" 202 billion riyals


Head of His Royal Highness bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs – may God protect him -, the session held by the Council of Ministers today, Tuesday, Jumada al-Akhirah 11, 1447 AH, corresponding to December 2, 2025 AD, in Dammam, to approve the state’s general budget for the next fiscal year 1447/1448 AH (2026 AD).

Education expenditures in the Saudi budget for 2026 included 202 billion riyals, and expenses "Health and social development" 259 billion riyals and expenses "Economic resources" 92 billion riyals and expenses "Basic equipment and transportation" 35 billion riyals and expenses "General terms" 236 billion riyals.

The state’s general budget

While expenditures came "Municipal services" 72 billion riyals and expenses "Security and administrative areas" 120 billion riyals, and sector expenses "Military" 240 billion riyals, and sector expenses "Public administration" 57 billion riyals.
