“Seven Peaks”… a Saudi documentary that tells the story of the challenge and is shown for the first time at the Red Sea Festival
The Saudi documentary film “Seven Summits” marks its first appearance on the list of official screenings in the fifth edition of The Red Sea International Film Festival, which is scheduled to be held in historic Jeddah from December 4 to 13, 2025, to provide a visual and human experience that emulates the growing spirit of Saudi adventure.
The work reviews the journey of the Saudi entrepreneur and adventurer, Dr. Badr Al-Shaibani, who was able to complete the Seven Summits Challenge by climbing the highest peak on each of the world’s continents, presenting an inspiring model of inner strength, discipline, and achieving goals, in In harmony with the paths of Saudi Vision 2030, which promote the values of ambition and overcoming challenges.

The documentary is among five selected works participating this year in the “ The local film industry and the high level of production and quality of work.
The film’s hero, Dr. Badr Al-Shaibani, said: “The film Seven Peaks represents my personal experience of challenge and discipline, and it is an honest attempt to convey what a person can learn when he tests himself outside the comfort zone.
