Fujairah Police referred 16 young men to the Public Prosecution and seized 27 vehicles during the Union Day holiday

The Fujairah Police General Command arrested a number of reckless people during the period from November 28, 2025 to December 2, 2025, after they committed serious violations that threaten public safety in the Al-Faqit area, coinciding with the intensification of security measures and raising the level of field supervision during the Union Day celebrations to ensure a safe environment for community members.

The leadership indicated that 16 young men were referred to the Public Prosecution for engaging in reckless behavior that endangered their lives and the lives of road users, by using spray tools and water cannons in an unethical manner, within the framework of firmly enforcing the law and deterring any practices that disrupt public order.

On the traffic level, the police explained that 27 vehicles whose owners committed serious traffic violations were impounded, while the emirate recorded 270 traffic accidents during the same period, including 269 minor accidents, compared to one accident that resulted in injuries.

The Fujairah Police General Command confirmed that these results reflect the intensive field efforts made by police teams to protect members of society, stressing the importance of adhering to traffic laws and displaying civilized behavior, ensuring the continuation of national celebrations in a safe atmosphere that expresses the values ​​of the Union and consolidates the state’s position in promoting security and stability.
