National Bonds announces that the first private sector company has joined the voluntary savings system for end-of-service benefits
Dubai, 4 December / WAM / National Bonds Company announced today that Harbor Properties has joined the company as the first private sector company to adopt the voluntary savings system for end-of-service benefits, which is supervised by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in cooperation with the Securities and Commodities Authority.
The program provides Harbor Real Estate employees the opportunity to benefit from the “National Bonds Fund with protected capital that is compatible with Islamic Sharia,” and invest their savings through low-risk investment tools that achieve stable returns during the employee’s years of service. In addition, employees participating in the fund can add a voluntary contribution of up to 25% of their annual salary, which enhances their culture of financial planning and achieves their long-term savings goals.
Mohammed Qasim Al Ali, CEO of the National Bonds Group, said that joining Harbor Properties confirms companies’ confidence in the National Bonds programs.
Al-Ali added that the increasing awareness among companies of the importance of providing a more sustainable savings system for employees enhances the role of National Bonds in providing safe and effective solutions that support both the worker and the employer.
For his part, Dr. Muhannad Al-Wadiya, CEO of Harbor Properties, pointed out the importance of Harbor being the first private company to join the National Bonds end-of-service reward program, and urged employers to invest employees’ end-of-service amounts in approved funds managed with local expertise, such as National Bonds.
The National Bonds Fund, with protected capital compatible with Islamic Sharia, is one of the first funds approved within the voluntary savings system for end-of-service rewards, which is sponsored and supervised by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
