The President of the State receives a phone call from the Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, in which he congratulates him on the 54th Union Day

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, during which he congratulated him on the 54th anniversary of the union of the United Arab Emirates, asking God Almighty to perpetuate the country’s security, progress and prosperity.
The Sheikh of Al-Azhar also congratulated Their Highnesses the Sheikhs, members of the Supreme Council of the Federation, the rulers and people of the Emirates on this national occasion, praising the role of the country’s leadership in promoting its cultural and humanitarian renaissance, following the approach of the late founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul.”
In this context, he praised the importance of the Zayed National Museum, which was opened recently to coincide with the country’s celebrations of its National Day, in perpetuating the founder’s legacy, his approach to leadership and construction, and the values ​​of unity and love upon which the UAE Federation was founded, praying to God Almighty for his mercy and forgiveness as a reward for what he provided.
For his part, His Highness the President of the State expressed his thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb for the sincere feelings he expressed towards the UAE and its people.
