Mohamed Mazhar Hamada…the best insurance personality in the region for the year 2025

The CEO of Al Ain National Insurance Company, Mohamed Mazhar Hamada, was awarded the title of Best Insurance Personality in the Middle East for the year 2025, during the 12th edition of the “Middle East Insurance Industry Awards 2025”.

According to the Middle East Insurance Industry Awards 2025, Hamada was able to develop the regional insurance sector over five decades, and contributed to the growth of Al Ain National Insurance Company.

A statement issued today stated that Hamada worked to modernize the system and develop technological capabilities in the insurance sector, benefiting from international experiences, such as the European Green Card to develop the Orange Card standards.

He also served as rapporteur of the Unified Arab Automobiles and Offices Committee of the General Arab Insurance Federation, and made great efforts to develop the orange card and promote it in Arab countries.

Hamada also assumed a group of leadership roles, as he assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Energy Insurance Fund in the African Asian Insurance and Reinsurance Union, President of the Arab Association for Insurance Laws in the General Arab Insurance Union, Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Arab War Risk Insurance Fund (ORS), and was appointed Vice President of the Arab Insurance Institute, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Insurance Union.

Hamada chairs the Technical Subcommittee for Auto Insurance and Vice Chairman of the Supreme Technical Committee of the Emirates Insurance Federation, where he plays a pivotal role in maintaining market balances and addressing technical issues.
