The farmers market starts tomorrow at the Qur’anic Park in Dubai

Dubai, 5 December / WAM / The activities of the fifth season of the “Farmers Market” will begin tomorrow in the Qur’anic Park in Al Khawaneej area, with the participation of 41 Emirati farmers who will display their agricultural and organic products directly to the public, within the framework of Dubai Municipality’s support for the local agricultural sector and the promotion of sustainable production and quality of life in the emirate.

The market will open its doors on Saturday and Sunday of every week until February 8, 2026, from 4:30 pm to 9 pm, allowing residents and visitors a direct shopping experience from the local farmer in an interactive atmosphere that combines agriculture, entertainment and fresh products.

The new season presents a rich agenda of activities for the first time, including a Wisdom Tree experience, a stamp exhibition, a farm play area, a plant laboratory, a fruit scent corner, and a petting zoo, in addition to an inaugural drone show. The activities also include awareness workshops on sustainable agriculture, healthy nutrition, and environmental recycling, in addition to courses and consultations directed at farmers to support the development of their projects.

Mohammed Abdul Rahman Ahli, Acting Director of the Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality, said: The farmers’ market is an integrated space that combines community participation and support for Emirati farmers, which embodies our commitment in Dubai Municipality to developing the local agricultural sector and opening direct communication and marketing channels for owners of small agricultural projects, in addition to encouraging the Dubai community to visit the market and support local products in an entertainment atmosphere that enriches their moments and enhances the city’s luxury, attractiveness, and quality of life that it provides.

The fourth season of the market received 102,625 visitors, which enhanced community awareness of the importance of supporting the local product and the sustainable food option, by providing a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, honey, dairy products, and Emirati dates.
