A new convoy carrying winter clothing and shelter materials for the people of Gaza

The UAE humanitarian aid convoy No. 257 entered the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation “Gallant Knight 3” to relieve the brotherly Palestinian people, carrying shelter materials and “winter clothing” on board to enhance protection for affected families in light of the cold weather conditions.

The new convoy includes 15 trucks carrying about 300 pallets of aid, with a total weight of approximately 182 tons of shelter materials and various winter clothing, including tents and basic heating supplies that contribute to providing safer shelter for families who have lost their homes or been forced to flee.

The convoy comes with the support of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, as a large portion of its cargo was allocated to “winter clothing” initiatives, which include winter jackets and various warm clothes, distributed to different age groups of children, women and the elderly, to contribute to protecting them from severe cold waves and alleviating their suffering in the camps and affected areas.

The Emirates Red Crescent, in coordination with the teams of Operation “Gallant Knight 3” in the field, continues to send quality convoys focusing on shelter materials and winter needs, in response to the increasing humanitarian needs in the Gaza Strip, and in order to provide the basic necessities of life for our brothers, especially with the increasing impact of low temperatures on the affected and displaced families.

This convoy is an extension of a series of uninterrupted Emirati aid convoys within the framework of Operation “Gallant Knight 3,” which continues its humanitarian efforts to secure shelter, food, and basic care for the brotherly Palestinian people, in cooperation with partners and humanitarian agencies, most notably the Emirates Red Crescent.
