المملكة: The Islamic Alliance concludes the anti-terrorism program in Kenya


Conclude for Today, in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, the work of its advanced program entitled "Combating the financing of terrorism and – Advanced level"

It was implemented over a period of five days as part of an initiative "building" The strategy, which aims to develop the national capabilities of member states in confronting financial crimes linked to terrorism, in the presence of the Deputy Commander of the Kenyan Army, Major General Muhammad Nur Hassan, and a number of civilian and military officials.

Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing

The program witnessed the participation of an elite group of specialists from the banking, financial and security sectors, including financial compliance officials, financial investigators, and cadres concerned with combating money laundering and terrorist financing, in addition to representatives of regulatory and supervisory bodies, who presented Advanced training content that combined theoretical aspects and practical applications.

The program sessions addressed advanced frameworks in international legislation, new terrorist financing methods, money laundering mechanisms, and the use of digital technologies in monitoring and analysis.

In addition to leadership skills and institutional compliance management, supported by case studies and extensive specialized exercises aimed at enhancing participants’ ability to track suspicious financial flows and analyze complex patterns.

Fighting the financing of terrorism and financial crimes

The Islamic Coalition stressed that the implementation of this program comes within the framework of its commitment to support member states in building effective national systems to combat the financing of terrorism and financial crimes, and to enhance coordination with regional and international partners.

This will contribute to raising the efficiency of specialists, developing integrated responses that keep pace with the accelerating challenges in this field, and supporting security and stability at both levels.
