A delegation of members of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Development Program meets with the Japanese Consul General

Dubai, 7 December / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development organized a visit for a delegation of members of the 2025-2026 batch of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Development Programme, to His Excellency Jun Imanishi, Consul General of Japan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, as part of the Centre’s ongoing efforts to develop national leaders and enhance international cooperation in the fields of leadership and knowledge.

During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation within the framework of the strategic partnership between the UAE and Japan were discussed, and the values ​​of leadership and cultural exchange that unite the two countries were reviewed, and joint efforts to prepare a generation of leaders with a global vision capable of keeping pace with future transformations.

The visit aimed to shed light on the leadership experiences and expertise that the program participants acquired during their recent training trip to Japan, which came within the program’s practical track, to learn about the best international practices in leadership sciences, and to learn about successful leadership models and apply their methods and approaches in their work.

His Excellency John Imanishi welcomed the delegation, stressing the importance of such initiatives in strengthening the bonds of cooperation between the UAE and Japan, and expressing his appreciation for the efforts of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development in qualifying national leaders in accordance with the highest international standards.

In turn, Majid Al Shamsi, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development, stressed the depth of the strategic relations between the UAE and Japan, and the common keenness to exchange knowledge and experiences in the fields of leadership and innovation, pointing out that the program participants’ trip to Japan constituted an important step to hone their skills and develop their leadership capabilities, and allowed them to interact directly with Japanese leaders and officials to gain rich experiences and learn about the best leadership practices.

The meeting included presentations from program participants that addressed key topics that included sustainable cities and communities, hospitality, technology and innovation, quality of life, education, and liveable cities.
