The international star, Angelina Jolie, has begun filming her latest movie, titled “Sunny,” with the famous director Eva Sorhaug, in light of the positive feedback that the international star achieved by presenting the character of an opera singer in the movie “Maria,” which is currently showing.

The events of the suspense thriller “Sunny” revolve around a strong woman who has a position in a gang and struggles to protect her children from an abusive drug gang leader, but when a devastating event occurs, she only has a few hours to plan their final escape.

According to Deadline, the movie “Sunny” is inspired by the atmosphere of classic mafia movies, but it revolves around the female lead in an exciting thriller format, with Angelina Jolie playing the title role alongside the artist Charlie Plummer. The film was written by William Day Frank, and director Eva Sorhaug contributed to developing the story, and produced by producer Mark Fanso, who is betting on the complex role that Angelina Jolie will present, combining passion, violence, and the quest for survival.

The film highlights the human side, the maternal instinct, family ties, and the supernatural and impossible things that a mother may do to protect her children in the midst of the criminal gang world.

It seems that international star Angelina Jolie has an open appetite to film a group of cinematic works at once, namely: “Couture” with director Alice Winokur, “Anxious People” with director Mark Foster, and “The Initiative”, which brings her together again with director Doug Liman, after their previous collaboration in the film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”.

“The Initiative” is one of the spy films starring Angelina Jolie, and it is written by F. Scott Fraser, and produced by Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum from RK Films, in which Jolie plays the role of a skilled spy.

It seems that Angelina Jolie’s great indulgence, in the future, in filming a large group of films at once, is due to her feeling of emptiness on the one hand, and her love for the acting profession on the other, which is the love that she inherited from her late mother, who dreamed of being an actress, but she preferred to take care of her children as a divorced mother, and she passed on to Angelina her love of the profession instead of her, and supported her a lot before her death.
