“Mawani” signs a contract to develop a logistics center in Yanbu Port for 29 million riyals

This comes as part of efforts "Ports" Aiming to develop the infrastructure of the Kingdom’s ports and increase the private sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product, in addition to strengthening the position of Yanbu’s commercial port as a pivotal center on the Red Sea.
The project aims to achieve several economic benefits, including attracting corporate investments. National and international shipping and transportation, creating direct and indirect job opportunities that support economic development, increasing handling, and enhancing operational efficiency at Yanbu Commercial Port, through establishing centers for storing and redistributing goods, in a way that meets the needs of national and international shipping and transportation companies, and contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. It has 12 berths with a capacity exceeding 13.5 million tons. It also includes a passenger station with a capacity of 2,000 passengers, a general cargo station, in addition to two silos for storing bulk materials with a capacity of 20,000 tons per unit.
