"Abu Dhabi Securities" Praises for joining the global brokerage platform "Interactive Brokers" As a new partner
Abu Dhabi, 9 December / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Securities Market Group welcomed the joining of Interactive Brokers, one of the electronic brokerage companies in the world, as a new partner in the field of online brokerage, allowing a broader base of investors around the world to benefit from investment opportunities in Abu Dhabi, and to build diversified investment portfolios across asset classes and different regions.
According to a press release issued by the market, the joining of Interactive Brokers will contribute to supporting the Abu Dhabi Securities Market’s direction towards expanding the international investor base and enhancing ease of access to securities listed in the market on a global level.
This development comes as an extension of the recent initiatives launched by the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange to expand access to the market through selected digital investment platforms, including Thndr and eToro, which have contributed to enhancing the participation of individual investors and strengthening the regional presence.
Interactive Brokers has provided its global base of dealers with direct access to the capital markets in Abu Dhabi and the trading of all securities listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, along with more than 160 other financial markets. Investors in the UAE will also benefit from the platform’s ability to support multi-currency accounts, including the UAE dirham, as well as currency conversion services for financing and execution purposes.
This joining is consistent with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s strategy aimed at enhancing liquidity, expanding channels to attract investors, and facilitating access to a growing portfolio of investment products that include stocks, exchange-traded funds, derivatives, fixed income tools, and digital trading solutions.
