Burj Khalifa lights up with Mona Zaki’s image in the movie "Aren’t you?"

The Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was lit up embodying the image of Mona Zaki to celebrate the screening of the film “The Woman” Which tells the biography of the Star of the East, Mrs. Umm Kulthum.

The film narrates the life story and struggle journey of the late Arab singing legend until she became one of the most influential Arab women.

 

The events of the film revolve around Umm Kulthum in her youth, when she moves to Cairo from her small village, Tamai Al-Zahira, to pursue Behind her passion for music and singing.

 

Despite the societal obstacles she faced, including being forced to wear boys’ clothes, her heavenly voice, extraordinary talent, and relentless determination pushed her to the pinnacle of success for more than seven decades, ending with her being crowned the greatest Arab singer the world has ever known.

 

The film is written by Ahmed Murad. He formed a successful duo with director Marwan Hamed through a number of the most successful films in Egyptian cinema, the most recent of which was the film Kira Wal Jin. The film stars the big star Mona Zaki, and a large group of stars co-star with her, including Mohamed Farrag, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Tamer Nabil, Sayed Ragab, and Ahmed Radwan.
