Sheikh Zayed Festival celebrates the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain

Abu Dhabi, December 12 / WAM / The Sheikh Zayed Festival – as part of the UAE’s celebrations of the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which falls on December 16 of this year – will hold a number of diverse events, including heritage performances and a singing, entertainment and cultural evening.
The agenda of events begins with the playing of the national anthem for both the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain. It also includes traditional folk performances by specialized bands in the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain, lighting the festival in the colors of the flags of the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to lighting the main tower with festive designs, and decorating the lighting poles with the flags of Bahrain.
Coinciding with the celebration of the national occasion, a singing evening will be held with the participation of artists Aida Al Menhali and Hanan Reda, during which they will sing lyrics that reflect the depth of the common ties between the peoples of the two countries. The main entrance to the festival will also witness the activation of its screens to display congratulatory messages and media content related to the UAE’s celebrations of the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The main entrance screens also display pictures from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the flags of the two countries, celebratory video clips, and congratulatory messages. The activities extend to the Emirates Fountain shows, which start accompanied by Bahraini songs, and musical band performances, as an expression of the feelings of joy on this national occasion that is dear to the hearts of the Emirati people.
Special benefits were revealed for visitors coming from the Kingdom of Bahrain, including VIP parking, added value to game packages, a free visit to the Dinosaur Park, free games and events, free entry to the festival, the Anecdotes Reserve, the Children’s Kingdom in “Wonderland” and the skating rink, and the free distribution of festive shawls and Bahrain flags to the public throughout the celebrations, while the festive evening receives full media coverage in coordination with various local media outlets.
