المملكة: 35 volunteers plant 50 shade trees on Saihat Walk to enhance the green area

The Qatif Governorate Municipality has activated a specific initiative to plant 50 shade trees in the northern Saihat Walk, with the participation of 35 male and female volunteers, as part of the “Eternity of Giving” festival strategy to enhance community partnership and increase Comfortable spaces for visitors, in an executive step that translates the slogan “Our Qatif is green” into a tangible reality that is directly felt by the residents of the city of Saihat and its visitors.

This initiative comes as a continuation of a strategic path adopted by the “Eternity of Giving” festival in partnership with the Saihat Social Services Association “Saada”, with the aim of transforming volunteer work from a mere passing participation into a major driver To improve the urban landscape and beautify the city.
The Director of the Community Partnerships Department in the Qatif Governorate Municipality, Muhammad Al-Mishal, confirmed that the involvement of 35 young men and women in this field work made a fundamental difference in the speed and quality of achievement, which reflects the maturity of community awareness of the importance of preserving and developing environmental gains.
The Culture of Sustainable Giving
Al-Mishal indicated that this environmental movement does not only aim to increase The digital number of trees, rather, focuses on consolidating the culture of “sustainable giving” and enabling volunteers to leave a permanent mark on their city, praising the great integration between the municipal sector and the non-profit sector.
