The Ajman Businesswomen Board of Directors discusses its strategic plan for 2026

Ajman, December 16 / WAM / The Ajman Businesswomen Council held its fourth Board of Directors meeting for the year 2024, chaired by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairperson of the Council, to discuss and approve the Council’s strategic and operational projects for the year 2026, review the package of services and initiatives supporting women business owners and female Council members, and review the local and international participation plan for the coming year, in a way that enhances the role of women in supporting economic development and consolidating the competitiveness of women’s entrepreneurship.
The meeting was attended by female members of the Board of Directors and female employees of the Council, at the headquarters of the Ajman Business Women Council, and via video communication technology “remotely”.
Dr. Amna Khalifa praised the Ajman Chamber’s continued support for the Council’s efforts and initiatives, stressing that the Ajman Businesswomen’s Council in the Ajman Chamber is keen to align its initiatives and projects in line with the directions of the Emirate of Ajman and the UAE.
She stressed that the Council is keen to launch initiatives with a sustainable social and economic impact, coinciding with the Year of the Family, with the aim of supporting family stability, enhancing its role in economic development, and enabling women business owners to achieve a balance between the requirements of work and family life.
The meeting discussed the Council’s achievements report for the year 2025, and reviewed the most prominent initiatives and programs that were implemented during the last period, in addition to approving the minutes of the Council’s third meeting, and discussing a number of topics on the agenda in a way that supports achieving the strategic goals and enhancing the efficiency of the Council’s institutional performance.
The Council discussed its strategic plan for the year 2026, which focused on two main programs, one of which is entitled “Integration of Industrial and Productive Entrepreneurship,” which aims to enable women business owners to enter the industrial and productive sectors, enhance their competitive capabilities, and support the establishment and development of sustainable, value-added projects, by providing specialized training programs, preparing feasibility studies, and building effective partnerships with government and private agencies concerned with industrial empowerment, in line with the state’s directions in supporting national industries.
The other program includes the launch of the “electronic platform for the Ajman Businesswomen Council,” which aims to provide an integrated digital window for the council’s services, enhance communication with businesswomen and its members, and facilitate access to available programs, initiatives, and opportunities, which contributes to raising the efficiency of services, expanding the scope of beneficiaries, and supporting digital transformation in accordance with best practices.
