A partnership agreement between the Masters Games and the Basketball Association

Abu Dhabi, December 16 / WAM / The Supreme Organizing Committee of the Masters Games signed a partnership agreement with the Emirates Basketball Federation with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the two sides as part of preparations for hosting the global event in Abu Dhabi during February 2026, with the participation of thousands of athletes from various countries of the world.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Abdul Latif Nasser Al Fardan, President of the UAE Basketball Association, and His Excellency Arif Hamad Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
According to the statement issued by the Emirates Basketball Federation, the agreement aims to cooperate in forming the participating sports teams in coordination with local clubs, sports academies and communities residing in the country, in addition to supervising the technical management of competitions and organizing the participation of referees, which will contribute to the success of the event and enhance Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading destination for hosting international sporting events.
