“Maaden”: Approval of allocating feedstock for the Fourth Phosphate Project

Yesterday, the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) received approval from the Ministry of Energy to allocate quantities of feedstock needed to implement the Fourth Phosphate Project.
The company said in a statement on its website "Saudi Arabia trading"The project aims to produce approximately 1.1 million tons of ammonia and increase the production of phosphate and specialized fertilizers by approximately 2.5 million tons, which will raise the company’s production capacity to approximately 12 million tons annually. Which strengthens Ma’aden’s position as one of the largest producers of phosphate fertilizers in the world.
The company will begin conducting engineering studies and completing the necessary approvals, and any fundamental developments related to the project will be announced in accordance with the relevant regulations and instructions.
Ma’aden also expresses its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Energy for its great efforts in strengthening the Kingdom’s position in the global phosphate fertilizer export market, and its role in supporting global food security and enabling the exploitation of wealth. Mineral resources, which directly contribute to achieving the objectives of the mining strategy and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
