Dubai Police is the best police agency in the world in the field of institutional agility

The Dubai Police General Headquarters obtained accreditation from the Business Agility Institute – BAI, as the best police agency in the field of institutional agility in the world, after a comprehensive evaluation process that targeted the capabilities of institutional leadership and the maturity of the agility system.

This accreditation came after an evaluation conducted last May with the aim of renewing the accreditation and evaluating leadership capabilities in the field of institutional agility, as Dubai Police achieved the highest score globally in the police sector and the public sector, recording an increase of 10 degrees compared to the first evaluation conducted by the institute in 2023.

The criteria adopted in the evaluation included: agile leadership and governance, institutional strategy, organizational structures, administrative processes, team management and empowerment, the ability for cultural and intellectual cooperation, in addition to institutional change management, while aligning these criteria with government and global excellence standards, reflecting the integration between institutional agility and the requirements of future government excellence.

This accreditation reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to adopting the best international practices in organizational agility, which contributes to enhancing the speed of response to changes and challenges, raising the efficiency of decision-making, empowering police leadership and teams, supporting innovation, and improving the quality of security services provided to the community.

Major General Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of the General Department of Excellence and Leadership, confirmed that Dubai Police obtaining this accreditation came as a result of its adoption of an advanced model of agile leadership, and its ability to transform institutional agility from an administrative concept into an integrated practical practice that is human-centered, supports innovation, and keeps pace with Dubai’s future aspirations, thus enhancing its position as one of the best police institutions globally in terms of performance and institutional readiness.

He pointed out that this achievement confirms Dubai Police’s commitment to global leadership and establishing a culture of continuous development, in line with the vision of the wise leadership to make Dubai a global model in government and security excellence.

For his part, Director of the Knowledge, Innovation and Development Department, Colonel Abdullah Jassim Al Zarouni, confirmed that this global accreditation embodies the fruit of the research and knowledge development work led by Dubai Police in the field of innovation and institutional agility, and the application of methodologies based on data, analysis, and proactiveness, to transform challenges into opportunities, adopt smart solutions, and work according to flexible operational models that support decision-making and contribute to improving the efficiency of police operations.
