The Washington Post reported: The American newspaper said that the United States gave Iran one last chance before American forces joined the Israeli bombing during the 12-Day War, but it rejected it.
The report revealed a recent secret diplomatic offer from the administration of US President Donald Trump to lift “all sanctions” If Tehran ends its support for non-state actors and replaces its nuclear facilities.
The Washington Post reported: Even as Israeli assassinations and bombings were already underway, the Trump administration embarked on a final secret diplomatic attempt to resolve the nuclear crisis.
According to the American newspaper, this secret proposal, which promised to lift all sanctions imposed on Iran in exchange for dismantling uranium enrichment sites and stopping support for its armed groups, was the last opportunity to avoid the use of American military force in the conflict.
