For the second time… Trump announces his participation in the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner
The US President announced Trump in a post on social media praised the Association’s decision to reorganize the dinner on July 24, describing it as evidence of strength and solidity.
The organizers of the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner announced on Tuesday the rescheduling of the party that a gunman attempted to storm while the US President was attending.
Trump was taken out of the hotel in central Washington on April 25, after hearing gunfire at a security checkpoint outside the celebration hall.
Confrontation Against Violence
The president of the association, Weijia Jiang, said in a message to members: I am pleased to announce that we will organize another dinner in Washington, D.C., on Friday, July 24.
She added: We will not allow violence to have the last word, especially in the year in which we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and all that it stands for.
