"Global health" It acknowledges its delay in responding to the Ebola outbreak

The World Health Organization has confirmed that the Ebola outbreak in Central Africa has reached a large scale, noting that response efforts are currently beginning to gradually contain the situation.

The Director-General of the Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, told reporters in Geneva: “We are still behind.”

He warned, saying: “Only about 45% of contacts have been traced, and to control the outbreak we need to raise this percentage to more than 90%.”
