22 stationing points for “land and sea” rescue teams to deal with weather fluctuations

The Director of the Search and Rescue Department at the General Department of Transport and Rescue in Dubai Police, Colonel Khalid Al Hammadi, confirmed the readiness of the search and rescue teams to deal with emergency situations during the weather fluctuations that the region is witnessing, by being present at 22 “land and sea” stationing points, as land rescue teams are present at 13 stationing points at the level of the emirate, including Hatta, while marine rescue teams are present at 9 stationing points at the coastal level to deal with any emergency situation.
He pointed out that the ground rescue teams are equipped with all types of specialized four-wheel-drive trucks and patrols, and all modern equipment and technologies for rescue operations, such as hydraulic devices used to lift heavy weights, scissors, saws, etc., in addition to providing 120 cranes in cooperation with Emirates Auctions to deal with any emergency.
He stated that the marine rescue teams, in turn, are ready to deal with any accidents during weather fluctuations and around the clock, and that they conduct patrols in order to quickly respond to any accidents in the marine areas and valleys, indicating that these teams are equipped with all specialized boats, bicycles, lifesavers, and trained frogs to deal with any emergency.
Colonel Al Hammadi urged responding to the instructions and directives published by Dubai Police and various government agencies, calling on members of the public to contact the Dubai Police Command and Control Center on 999 in the event of emergency situations, and for the location to be described accurately and clearly in order to quickly respond to the report, as this is of great importance in helping those in need, wishing everyone safety and security.
