"Zabeel Stables" She won the His Highness the President of the State Endurance Cup for the 100 km distance

Abu Dhabi, December 18 / WAM / Zabeel Stables won first and second place in the 100 km private stables race, which was held this Thursday evening at the Boudheib International Endurance Village in Al Khatm, at the opening of the activities of the His Highness the President of the UAE Endurance Cup, which includes 4 races.

Jockey Rashid Mohammed Al Muhairi won the title on horseback, Turk K, in the race organized by the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, with the participation of 208 male and female riders from various stables and equestrian clubs in the country.

The champion achieved the title by covering the race distance in 3:51:06 hours, with an average speed of 25.95 km/hour. His runner-up, by a second, was his colleague Lea Vander, riding the “Galia de Fleuzin”, with a time of 3:51:07 hours, and third was the jockey Saif Jumaa, riding Al-Jafila, riding “Kalharbi Rajan” for the “SS” stables, with a time of 3:52:39 hours.

The winners were crowned by Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Equestrian and Racing Federation, Abdullah Al Naqbi, Director of the Support Services Department at the Federation, Mohammed Hatem Al Junaibi, Director of Events at Boudheib International Endurance Village, and Sultan Al Hosani, Head of the Marketing Department at the Federation.

Tomorrow, the village of Boudheib will witness the holding of the women’s race for a distance of 100 km, divided into 4 stages, the first being 30 km in orange, the second being 30 km in blue, then the third stage of 20 km in green, leading to the fourth and final stage of 20 km in white.

The competitions will continue with the Giants Race on Saturday, for a distance of 100 km, and the activities will conclude with the main open race, for a distance of 120 km, next Sunday.

Ahmed Al Suwaidi confirmed that the race witnessed a strong competition between male and female knights to win first place in a race that bears a name dear to everyone’s hearts, with the participation of more than 200 male and female knights, noting the Equestrian Federation’s keenness to organize equestrian races that are witnessing great development at all levels.

Equestrian Rashid Al Muhairi expressed his pride in winning the title, especially since it came after his recent crowning of the 120 km World Youth Endurance Championship title, in Romania.
