Naima Ahli: The 18th anniversary of Hamdan bin Mohammed’s accession to the Crown Prince represents an important stage in Dubai’s development process.
DUBAI, 1st February, 2017 (WAM) – Her Excellency Naima Ahli, Executive Director of the Dubai Women Establishment, said that the eighteenth anniversary of the accession of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to the Crown Prince in the Emirate of Dubai, embodies an important stage in the development process of the Emirate, characterized by the acceleration of institutional transformation and the consolidation of a culture of preparing leaders capable of sustaining achievement and continuing excellence, presenting the highest signs to His Highness and to the people of the Emirates. Congratulations and blessings on this occasion.
The Executive Director of the Dubai Women Foundation added that the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was based on empowering national competencies, especially women, and providing them with opportunities to be an influential partner in policy-making and decision-making, which contributed to the emergence of female leadership models that contribute to enhancing Dubai’s global competitiveness and reflect its position as a city of opportunities and empowerment.
She stressed that the Dubai Women Establishment is working, in accordance with this approach, to develop an integrated system for building women’s leaders and enhancing women’s readiness for the future in vital sectors, in line with the Dubai government’s directions towards a knowledge and innovation economy.
She stressed that what was achieved during this journey reflects a leadership vision that believes that investing in people is the true guarantee of sustainable development, expressing her hope that Dubai will achieve further progress and leadership in light of this forward-looking vision.
