Exempting public parking users in Sharjah from fees until tomorrow, Friday

The Sharjah City Municipality announced that users of public parking lots will be exempted from fees, due to the unstable weather conditions and in order to facilitate the emirate’s residents and visitors.

The municipality stated that the exemption begins as of Thursday evening and continues until the end of Friday, December 19, 2025, and includes all public parking lots in the Emirate of Sharjah, including the parking lots subject to fees throughout the week and official holidays, which are indicated by blue signboards.

The municipality explained that the exemption also includes smart plaza parking in a number of vital locations, including the Hanging Gardens, Al Hafiya Lake, and Al Rafisa Dam.

The municipality confirmed that this step comes as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the safety of the public and reduce burdens during weather fluctuations, calling on everyone to exercise caution and follow the instructions of the competent authorities in order to preserve public safety.
