Artist Khaled Abdel Rahman emphasized that feelings remain the same no matter how different times are, and that The audience’s interaction with old and new songs reflects the depth of the emotional connection to the song, pointing out that the beauty of old works lies in their connection to memories, as they represent a time period that an entire generation lived through and is still influential on subsequent generations.
He explained after the “Nineties of the Night Terrors” concert, which was held at the Abu Bakr Salem Theater within The Saudi song has witnessed wide expansion and spread in recent years, with the emergence of a large number of young artists who presented distinctive artistic colours, stressing that this movement reflects the development and spread of Saudi art, with clear and integrated support that contributed to serving the artistic scene and the artists.
Khaled Abdul Rahman directed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, stressing that the support and components he provided directly contributed to enriching and developing the artistic scene, Pointing out that the artistic message is the same, regardless of the different stages, whether it is the nineties, eighties, or two-thousands.
He pointed out that the audience’s survival and interaction in the cold climate reflects the sincerity of their feelings and the nobility of their feeling towards art, revealing at the conclusion of his speech that there is an intention, in coordination with those in charge of the Punch Mark Company, to hold a special concert that includes all of his singing works in an unconventional “sessions” format, in a step that is expected to gain the satisfaction and approval of his audience.
