Jordan confirms its participation in the US strikes on ISIS in Syria

Jordanian television reported on Saturday that the Kingdom’s army participated in American strikes on targets affiliated with ISIS in Syria.

American officials said that the US military launched large-scale strikes on dozens of ISIS targets in Syria yesterday, Friday, in response to an attack targeting American soldiers.

According to the television, “Jordan participated, through the Royal Jordanian Air Force, in carrying out precise air strikes that targeted a number of targets belonging to the ISIS terrorist gang in areas of southern Syria.”
