522 reports of rainwater accumulation and 7 cases of falling trees in Sharjah during the low weather

The Sharjah City Municipality revealed that its call center on the number (993) received 522 reports about rainwater accumulations and 7 reports about falling trees, after raising the maximum level of preparedness to deal with the public’s observations and reports during the low weather and good rains that the Emirate of Sharjah and the country as a whole witnessed.

The municipality explained that the call center worked around the clock, as all reports were dealt with quickly and accurately, and were immediately transferred to the competent field teams for timely processing.

During the low weather period, the center also worked to allocate a number to receive reports received from the Sharjah Police General Command related to water accumulations, in addition to another number for direct communication with the teams working in the field, which contributed to enhancing the quality and efficiency of field work.

Sharjah Municipality affirmed its constant keenness to be fully prepared and prepared to deal with emergency situations, ensuring the safety of community members and the continuity of providing services with high efficiency.
