Al Jazira jumps to third place with an exciting victory over Al Dhafra

Al Jazira jumped to third place on the ADNOC Professional League standings, after achieving an important victory over its guest, Al Dhafra, with a score of 4-2, in the match that brought them together today, Sunday, in the ninth round of the competition.

“Abu Dhabi Pride” raised its score to 17 points, equal to Shabab Al-Ahly, which ranked third, while Al Dhafra fell to eighth place after its score froze at 12 points.

Before the end of the first half, Johan Berg succeeded in reducing the difference for Al Dhafra, after stealing the ball from defender Mohamed Elneny and hitting a ground ball that landed to the right of goalkeeper Ali Khasif in the 45th minute + 1.

In the second half, Mohamed Elneny restored the lead in favor of Al Jazira, with a wonderful shot that landed in the top left corner of Al Dhafra’s goal in the 67th minute.

Substitute Bruno de Oliveira quickly made his mark, after receiving a perfect long pass from Abdullah Ramadan, bypassing the defense, and depositing the ball into the net, taking advantage of the goalkeeper’s exit to meet him in the 77th minute.

Before the end, Johan Berg returned to score the second goal for Al Dhafra, after a quick counterattack that ended with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area in the 85th minute.
