المملكة: Urgent: Minister of Information: 13 fields and 12 new gas and oil reservoirs discovered in 2025


He said Minister of Information Salman Al-Dosari said today, Monday, that by the end of 2025, the Kingdom will complete another chapter of ambition and successes.

He continued during the government press conference that the Kingdom ranked first in the world in the number of awards in the Artificial Intelligence Competition for Youth with 26 awards, and also came second globally in digital government.

The Minister of Information indicated that the average human lifespan in the Kingdom has risen to 79.7 years compared to 74 years in 2016.

He confirmed that the percentage of Saudi families owning homes at the end of last year reached 65.4%, and that the Saudi citizen was allowed to enter 31 countries without a visa or special facilities in 2025.

Saudi Achievements in 2025

Al-Dosari explained that there has been a 4-fold increase in blood donors since the start of the Crown Prince’s blood donation campaign, and the Gifted School project was also launched in partnership with the Ministry of Education.

He pointed out that 13 fields and 12 new reservoirs had been discovered to maximize and replace the Kingdom’s reserves of gas and oil in 2025. Nearly 85,000 seabirds were documented and nearly 1,600 endangered species were resettled.
