“Tenders”: More than 17 million dinars for 6 tenders for “Bapco Refining”

The Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes for 17 general tenders, submitting 86 different bids, including a tender for Bapco Refining Company, which wants to provide tank painting services and operating facilities and provide scaffolding services for the tanks, to obtain 7 different bids, the least of which amounted to 6.7 million dinars.
The Council also opened another tender for Bapco Refining Company, as the company intends to enter into a contract to provide traditional and advanced non-destructive inspection services, and the entire work is known here as the service that will be implemented in the company’s facilities in all factory units within the refinery and the contractor’s facilities, as it obtained 7 bids, the least of which amounted to 6.1 million dinars.
In a third tender, Bapco Refining Company intends to obtain a health, safety and environmental promotional services contract, for a period of 4 years to provide services and materials such as design, engraving, video creation, translation, printing, etc., as it obtained 4 bids, the least of which amounted to 3.1 million dinars.
As for a fourth tender, the company launched a tender to remove sediments and clean and recover oil from storage tanks without the entry of individuals. It received 5 bids, the lowest of which amounted to 1.3 million dinars.
Bapco Refining Company also launched a tender through which it intends to purchase and supply various types of spare parts and accessories for precision equipment required for use in the refinery units. It received 7 bids, the least of which amounted to 9 thousand dinars.
In the sixth tender for Bapco Refining Company, through which it intended to purchase steam traps for the refinery tank complex, it obtained 6 bids, the least of which amounted to 8 thousand dinars.
For its part, the Electricity and Water Authority (Planning and Studies Department) issued a tender to provide consulting services to establish a new desalination plant using reverse osmosis (RO) technology in the Ras Abu Jarjour area with a capacity of no less than 16 million gallons per day of drinking water. It received 8 bids, the least of which amounted to one million dinars.
The authority also issued another tender, which includes the construction work for constructing two ground tanks and water transfer pumps at the new Hawar station, and received 4 bids, the least of which amounted to 728 thousand dinars.
In a third tender for the Electricity and Water Authority, it wants to purchase units of the integrated control system for electricity transmission stations in the Electricity and Water Authority, and it received 3 bids, the lowest bid amounting to 75 thousand dinars.
In turn, Gulf Air Group Holding Company intends to unify the medical insurance system in all its subsidiaries, which are: Gulf Air Group Holding Company, Gulf Air, Bahrain Airport Company, Gulf Handling Company, and Bahrain Airport Aviation Fuel Company, as it obtained 5 different bids, the least of which amounted to 4.7 million dinars.
The Gulf Air Group also issued another tender to supply different types of tea and coffee, to be served on all Gulf Air flights for Falcon Gold and Economy Class passengers. It obtained two bids, the least of which amounted to 293 thousand dinars.
In another tender, the Gulf Air Group wants to supply spices. This tender aims to supply high-quality products at competitive and cost-effective prices, indicating that the selected product will be offered on all Gulf Air flights, in Falcon Gold and Economy Class.
For its part, the Ministry of Works issued a tender for comprehensive maintenance work for Safia Bint Abdul Muttalib Primary School and Al-Taawoun Secondary School for Boys, indicating that the construction work includes interior and exterior painting, repairing cracks, repairing ceilings and floors, repairing and replacing doors and windows, and renovating bathrooms.
The Ministry added that the works also include mechanical works, development of water networks, replacement of water tanks, and electrical works, such as the additional power room, replacement of distribution panels, lighting, and all related works, as it received 7 bids, the least of which amounted to 1.1 million dinars.
In another tender, the Ministry of Works wants to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the condition of the structural structure and the safety of the entire building, “including the foundations,” with the aim of developing appropriate rehabilitation methods based on the requirements of the project, increasing the life of the building, and restoring its structural strength, as it obtained 5 bids, the least of which amounted to 45 thousand dinars.
For its part, the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution issued a tender for health insurance for all members of the Chamber and their families for a period of three years, with a contract renewed annually within the Kingdom and internationally, and obtained 4 bids, the least of which amounted to 36 thousand dinars.
