المملكة: The Medina Chamber invites participation in an opinion poll on waste management
It called Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Madinah, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Planning, to participate in An opinion poll aims to measure current practices in waste management and recycling, and the level of environmental awareness within facilities, through the chamber’s accounts on social media.
The poll aims; To monitor the reality of waste management and recycling practices, and identify the most prominent challenges and opportunities related to efficient consumption and production, which contributes to supporting sustainable development goals and promoting the concept of the circular economy.
Supporting national efforts
The Chamber explained that the results of the opinion poll will contribute, in integration with the Ministry of Economy and Planning and relevant authorities, to supporting national efforts aimed at developing relevant policies and initiatives, improving the efficiency of resource management, and promoting the adoption of sustainable environmental practices.
It stressed that participation in the opinion poll represents a supportive element for building a database. Indicators that contribute to formulating practical solutions and stimulating the shift towards more sustainable economic models, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in protecting the environment and promoting economic sustainability.
