"Dubai Police" Team champion and"Shabelle" Leads singles in Emirates Village Championship for picking up pegs

Abu Dhabi, April 14 / WAM / The Emirates Village World Endurance Championship competitions for picking up the second pegs on its fields in Al Wathba concluded this evening, with the participation of 45 male and female riders, representing 11 teams.
The team competitions resulted in the Dubai Police team winning first place and the gold medal, achieving 343 points, the “Al-Dheeb B” team won second place and the silver medal, with 323 points, and the “Al-Waleed B” team came third, scoring the bronze with 288.5 points.
The individual competitions witnessed the jockey Muhammad Ali Shabili from the Al-Waleed team winning first place and the gold medal, scoring 79 points. The silver medal and second place were won by the jockey Saif al-Islam Baloch from the BTK team, with 92.5 points. The third place and the bronze medal went to the jockey Issa Abdul Majeed al-Balushi from the Dubai Police Cavalry Team, with 92 points.
Rashid Humaid Al Mazrouei, Head of the Stakes Picking Department at the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, confirmed that the tournament achieved great success after the resumption of competitions, with large participation from all parts of the country, praising the efforts of the Emirates Global Endurance Village in Al Wathba in hosting the second tournament of the season, and providing all the necessary requirements for its success.
He pointed out that the next event will be held in the Emirate of Dubai and will be called the “Sayh al-Salam Petching Championship” on April 20 and 21, with registration opening tomorrow to participate in it.
