Sharjah Chamber celebrates a festival "Jubail winter" In Kalba

Sharjah, December 26 / WAM / The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry continues to enhance the promotional activities witnessed by the “Sharjah Shopping Offers 2025-2026” through its support of the “Khayrat Al Dar” event in the Jubail Market in the city of Kalba, as part of its strategy to expand the scope of the most prominent promotional event in the emirate to include the Eastern Region and support the commercial and agricultural movement in the various cities and regions of Sharjah.
The support for the event comes with the aim of consolidating the culture of local consumption and supporting the national product, as it provided free selling platforms for farmers to display their seasonal harvest of fresh vegetables and fruits, herbs and derived products such as honey and dates. The event represented an interactive platform that brought together the farmer and the consumer to review the stages of agriculture from seeding to harvest.
The Chamber allocated an incentive package to ensure the success of the event, which included allocating cash prizes to the participating farmers, which will be awarded at a closing honoring ceremony. The activities also included distributing 30 baskets of “the house’s goodness” through theater competitions, distributing 200 agricultural seedlings to visitors, in addition to financial prizes for the “Best Photo” competition, and allocating an amount for hospitality derived from the goodness of local farms.
The Chamber’s support for this activity within the Jubail Winter Festival also aimed to reach the largest possible segment of the public in the Eastern Region and introduce them to the activities of the Sharjah Shopping Offers, which extend until March 25, 2026, and to build positive memories associated with the Sharjah Shopping Offers and enhance the public’s interest in the events organized by the Chamber annually.
Sharjah shopping offers continue in all regions and cities of the Emirate of Sharjah, with wide participation from major shopping centers, central markets and thousands of shops.
