المملكة: Urgent: Including 91 types of drugs… 961 customs smuggling cases were seized within a week
Registered Customs ports: land, sea and air (961) seizures of contraband, as part of the ongoing efforts made by Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority "Zatka" To enhance the security aspect and protect society from various types and forms of prohibited items.
The seized items included (91) items of Narcotic substances, such as: hashish, cocaine, heroin, shabu, Captagon pills, and others, in addition to (427) prohibited substances.
Customs ports witnessed the frustration of (1811) items of tobacco and its derivatives, in addition to (10) types of sums of money, and (5) types of weapons and their supplies.
Tightening customs control
and confirmed "Zatka" It is continuing to tighten customs control over the Kingdom’s imports and exports, in order to achieve the security and protection of society, in continuous cooperation and coordination with all its partners from the relevant authorities, calling on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect society and the national economy, by contacting it on the number designated for security reports (1910) or via e-mail (Email: 1910@zatca.gov.sa) or the international number (009661910).
Through these channels, the Authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the provisions of the Unified Customs System in complete confidentiality, while granting a financial reward to the informant if the report’s information is correct.
